Job Summary: The Outreach Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with referral sources, community partners, and clients to support the growth of Achieve Beyond's programs and services. This role develops and implements outreach strategies to increase community awareness, strengthen partnerships, and expand referral opportunities. The Outreach Coordinator represents the organization at community events, meetings, and networking opportunities while monitoring outreach efforts and maintaining ongoing communication with referral sources and stakeholders.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for outreaching and targeting assigned areas
  • Complete a minimum of 25 visits to community settings/referral sources per week.
  • Build relationships with referral sources local to our varying service locations.
  • Conducting phone calls and sending materials on a regular basis.
  • Plan and attend presentations, workshops, attending community meetings, and attending health fairs.
  • Monitoring the site visits and tracking referrals.
  • Use databases and applications to enter data and run reports.
  • Must be organized and able to multitask.
  • Respond to inquiries for services through website submissions, phone calls/voicemails
  • Identify, organize and attend community events.
  • Meet the weekly goals of outreach calls to referral sources.
  • Explain programs that Achieve Beyond offers to families, community personnel, referral sources and etc.

Excellent interpersonal skills and resourcefulness with the initiative and effort to attend related events is a key for this position.

Must be able to travel to and from assigned work events including but not limited to driving personal vehicle.

  • Occasionally ascends/descends stairs going to, while at, or leaving work location or facilities traveled to for work events.
  • Occasionally moving and/or lifting objects at work weighing up to 20 pounds such as files or copy paper.
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
